Girlscouts.org Website Redesign

With the new brand in place, it was time to fix the digital “front door” and build the new, truly responsive website that represented the new brand look and feel. Together with my digital design team lead and our internal UI/UX specialist, I started to rebuild the structure, framework, and layout of GirlScouts.org from the ground up.

The Challenges and The Journey

The Challenges and The Journey

We needed to present high-quantity and complex content while utilizing the new shape layout system, developing it in a way that felt appropriately sectioned off by topics and maintained the grid. It was necessary that we use the shapes in a way that would stack responsively with the 4 breakpoints we established. Then we needed a mock design that lent itself to testing and identifying a color and design system pulled from our new core brand guidelines that met all website compliancies. From wireframes to mockups, we established digital guidelines and a design system that created a fully responsive new brand experience.
