HTML5 Games

I have art directed and designed 14 games and 10 digital storybooks that use HTML5 technology. I love seeing what can be accomplished in with simple sprite animations.

During this particular 'Elmo The Musical' game series, the company went through a re-org which eliminated the role of the current producer on the project.  Mid-project, I stepped into a dual role of producer in addition to lead art director. The games launched successfully, both on time and in scope.

Oh Say, Can You See Shapes

Oh Say, Can You See Shapes

In this hide and seek game, the player is to find and tap on the hidden shapes in various Washington D.C. environments with President Elmo. Of course, we included the "oval" office.  There are success animations upon discovery of each shape, and final pay-off animations at completion of each round.

Shape Voyage

Shape Voyage

Shape Voyage is a path game engine in which 'Sea Captain Elmo' takes his boat and comrades around shape opticals such as hexagon islands, octagon boulders, triangle icebergs, and more. The user traces a path with their finger around the obstacles to get the boat to the end goal, their friend Moby Pink. Pay-off animations play at the end of each level.

Guac Pop!

Guac Pop!

In this bubble pop game, the user collects all of the ingredients that 'Chef Elmo' needs to make guacamole. Distractor items and empty bubbles fall in addition to the ingredients, while a scoreboard on the left of the screen indicates how many items are still needed.  A payoff animation plays at level completion, with a final payoff animation at the end of the game....Chef Elmo making a big bowl of guacamole!
